Part-Time Sales Associate

Location: In person at The Niche Shop Upper East & West Side & other on-site locations as necessary

Roles and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Available to work in both UES & UWS locations as necessary

• Warmly greet clients upon entering the boutique

• Assist with client inquiries in person and over social media

• Provide styling assistance as needed

• Demonstrate interest in fashion & styling 

• Prep new inventory for the sales floor daily

• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, visual merchandising, and housekeeping as needed

• Responsible for individual stock assignments, including organizing stock on floor and back of house

• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances both in person and on social media

• Post daily to Instagram stories to help promote and foster online sales

• Sign up customers for email newsletters

• Help and assist with in-store and off site events as necessary

Qualifications:

• Vintage clothing interest/ background preferred

• 1+ years experience in retail boutiques 

• Strong customer service skills, comfortable with talking to customers (!!)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work on weekends and holidays

• Proficient in Shopify

• Strong self-motivator 

• Experience with posting to social media platforms

• Able to lift 50lbs

Rate:

$16 - $20/hr
