The Niche Shop's Guide to: Spring/Summer Trends 2025
Spring/Summer Trends to Shop Sustainably in 2025
The sun is out, the layers are coming off, and fashion is taking a playful turn. Think texture, whimsy, and vintage flair. But instead of running to fast fashion for a quick trend fix, why not embrace these styles the sustainable way?
Here are three of our favorite spring and summer trends we are starting to see this year – and how to shop them secondhand, vintage, and with intention.
1. Polka Dots!
If your pinterest board is anything like ours it is filled with polka dots! From flirty blouses, chic headscarps or mary janes, polka dots are making a bold (yet timeless) return. Polka dots (very similarly to animal print) is a neutral and great classic and fun print to play with this summer!
In Our Shop: We’ve stocked up on vintage polka dot dresses, vintage blouses, and silky scarves that nail this trend without trying too hard.
(top $42 / skirt $42)
2. Wrinkle-On-Purpose Textures
Think: crinkle tops, pleated skirts, and ruched everything. These tactile pieces are not only low-maintenance (hello, no ironing!), but they also add instant dimension to your look. These types of materials were very popular in the 90’s and 2000s and with all the summer travel coming up these pieces are suitcase friendly!
In Our Shop: We’ve got crinkle sleeveless tanks and pleated midi skirts that are warm-weather ready.
(top $42 / top $42)
3. Eyelet & Lace
There’s something romantic and breezy about eyelet and lace, especially when worn with worn-in denim or layered over a slip dress. It's giving coastal summer, vintage picnic, and cottagecore all at once. One of the best things about shopping vintage is getting cute high quality material clothing. Look for cotton or linen blends for breathability.
In Our Shop: We’re loving sheer lace camis, vintage prairie tops, and dainty eyelet skirts perfect for twirling in the park.
(robe $77 / $47)
